Basic, specialised and bespoke healthcare training
If you have a Personal Health Budget or Personal Budget and require a bespoke package of training for your Personal Assistants or carers, Partner2Care (P2C) can deliver training to provide them with the knowledge they require to cater for your individual needs.
Partner2care training is provided within the patient’s home or for classroom based training, at our office in Portishead.
Additional training can be provided according to individual requirements, for example Emergency First Aid for management of seizures.
P2C provide training on the following core subjects:
- Medicines Management - record charts provided on request
- Tissue Viability – awareness of pressure damage
- Handling information and Record Keeping – record charts provided on request
- Safeguarding
- Manual handling (Resource: Getting to grips with hoisting people)
- Infection control
- First Aid – Basic Life Support and Management of Choking
- Personal care – maintenance of dignity and privacy
- Food hygiene certificate – advice only
- Fluids and nutrition
- Continence care
- FIT Testing ( for the assessment of appropriate FFP3 masks)*
